  • Encourage the implementation of modern pedagogical techniques, including active learning and student-centered learning, in the Limudei Kodesh classroom
  • Value the study of Tanakh and other Jewish texts as a foundational part of a student’s Jewish identity, and support the creation of meaningful educational experiences that build positive Jewish identity among students through engagement with those texts

  • Invest in their faculty by creating an expectation of professional development among Kodesh teachers
  • Create an environment that supports sustainable growth by ensuring that teachers have the time and space to fully engage in PD opportunities

  • Invest in their courses or programs by dedicating the requisite amount of time for coursework
  • Attend synchronous meetings and in-person events as necessary
  • Implement what they learn through thoughtful experimentation in their own classrooms
